安戴托昆波說：「這是一場必勝的戰役，我們一定要贏，感謝老天爺眷顧。」公鹿帶走三連勝，總教練基德表示：「今年球季安戴托昆波也有一些其他絕殺的機會但沒把握，這次他做到了。」這是本季安戴托昆波的首次絕殺美技。
尼克下半場全程領先，直到最後零秒時刻慘遭翻盤，主將安東尼當然不悅。搶下卅分、十一籃板卻無法幫助球隊贏球，當安戴托昆波拿下致勝兩分之際，安東尼的臉完全鐵青。他說：「我們根本是自己送掉比賽，難以接受。」末節尼克被對方打出卅二比十七的攻勢，難堪地在自家主場苦吞六連敗。
